"Floating in God's hands is better than swimming alone"
comes from an irritation.
I thought the "About me" is too restrictive.
Can you tell who a person is in 1200 words? I guess not.
I love making friends and opening the door to new relationships.
Why? Because I believe in learning from other people.
Life is an adventure and having a guide helps a lot.
Am I supposed to go around telling people how to live their lives?
No, I wouldn't do that because giving advice when nobody asked is intruding.
Did you find a solution?
Yes, I did.
I'm sharing tips and you feel free to read them.
When you share your thoughts, I will be learning too. I believe I have a good deal here.
Some facts about me.
I like to learn about religion, but I am not religious.
Nevertheless, I trust The Bible is the most amazing life guide ever.
My first petty peeve for you: I hate people who believe they must act bloodlessly and passively because it is the righteousness required to be a Christian.
I like to remind them how Jesus Christ used a whip on some greedy fellows' backs. Wasn't he perfect? Yes, he was, and the rightful ire he showed that day makes me love him even better.
But it is just little me.
The good deal with the Bible is that nobody there is perfect.
IT IS REFRESHING.
You could see I have some pet peeves. I am strong-headed too. I can be stubborn to the point I am the only one who loses, and I insist on that anyway.
I call myself bad words in silence when my stupidity awes me, and I feel pretty bad and pretty good about my actions many times.
In not so many words, I am quite normal, I guess.
I had a brain tumor, I have a very hard life as a Brazilian mother of three, I love my cat, my books, and watching stars, and I decided to write in English because the world reads the language.
Besides that, I lived abroad, and some of my best friends are not from my country or from any Portuguese-speaking country.
I know human beings suffer, laugh, regret and rejoice in every single corner of the world.
The new page is online.
And I have to apologize. I did not post for a long time.
Health problems made that.
I have read many books, and I am starting to write the reviews.
Just wait a bit, okay?
I am happy to be here again.
I feel you, sister, brother. Every technique fails one day. The writer's blank is not a figment of the imagination. I want to reveal some practical ways to get over it. However, because it has many causes, I'm writing a series on the theme. For that, I need to 'diagnose' your situation. Case #1: Your story seems to be running in circles. The sad answer, it probably is. Usually, it happens because you are not so sure about the end game. Do you want it to be for fun reading or to make people think? Psychological plots use this running in circles quite well. Because one of the main dramas in life is the lack of focus. So, it is not always a bad thing. Just make clear the emotions of the characters are inside the text. Show him/her drumming fingers, pulling hair, making repetitive movements for no reason. You get the picture. In nonfiction, some authors tell stories to convey a message. It's very effective. If you read the Bible you are familiar with the technique. J...
